Not to be confused with personal training which largely focuses on weight loss and fitness, our 1 to 1 Coaching is different.
This is typically a 6 OR 12 week commitment to yourself, to work on a much deeper level with our expert Biomechanics & Movement Coach, Riona. Based upon your individual needs and goals, this work addresses global movement patterns, training techniques/form, true core development, postural adaptations, biomechanical refinement and development of the intrinsic strength and skills required for your sport or needs.
Riona has spent years developing her knowledge of training science/injury rehabilitation/human biomechanics and her coaching skills. Combining this with her clinical experience, and eye for movement, this 1 to 1 work is very specific to the individual, and offers the greatest scope for learning, recovery and improved performance for athletes and highly active people.
Our 1 to 1 Coaching is specifically designed for highly active individuals who are struggling with ongoing/reoccurring pain or injury, post-operative rehabilitation, or those who really want to work on their body and refine their training techniques. This is also an excellent option for off-season periods to recalibrate the body and prepare for the next season ahead.

This 1-to-1 coaching is specifically designed for any individual who is: Already involved in regular training or competitive sport. Recovering from a significant injury or surgery and needs to bridge the gap back to performance. Looking to improve their overall technique or fundamental movement quality. Training towards a specific athletic or performance goal. Struggling with biomechanical dysfunctions that need to be addressed. Caught in a frustrating cycle of recurring or chronic injury.
No. We do not provide personal training for general exercise or weight loss. This is specialised coaching focused on performance, technique, and resilience, underpinned by a clinical assessment.
As a Chartered Physiotherapist, your coach can identify and address underlying biomechanical issues, seamlessly integrate rehabilitation with performance training, and has a much deeper understanding of how to build a strong, resilient body that resists injury.
Yes, this is a perfect example of who we help. We would first assess why the injury is recurring—addressing the biomechanical cause—and then build a coaching plan to fix the root issue and build strength.
We work in partnership with your sports coach. They are the expert in the tactics and skills of your sport. We are the experts in developing your physical capacity—your strength, movement quality, and resilience—so you can better execute their game plan.
A session is 100% focused on you. It involves direct coaching on the exercises in your programme, focusing on technique, intent, and progressive overload. Sessions can be in our gym or on a pitch for more sport-specific work.
This is a high-commitment partnership. A consistent effort over a minimum of 12 weeks is required to see significant, lasting results.
Yes. We specialise in building a strong foundation of movement quality and strength for young athletes (typically 14+), which is critical for their long-term development and injury prevention.
Because without it, we are just guessing. The assessment is the most important part of the process—it provides the clinical findings we need to build a programme that is effective and safe for you.
Simply fill out the form linked below. This is an application-only service because we are selective in who we work with to ensure a high-performance, committed environment.
