Physio-Led Group Training in Longford

Experience a unique fusion of Pilates, functional strength, and biomechanics in a supportive small group class, designed to build a truly capable and resilient body.

More Than a Workout. A Deeper Understanding of Your Body.

This class was developed by our founder, Riona, to support clients at a deeper level than is possible in a one-on-one clinic setting. It was born from the desire to coach the core principles that underpin our clinical work: enhancing your posture, strength, performance, and longevity.

By integrating Pilates, Functional Strength, Dynamic Movement, and Breathing Mechanics, our group training offers a fresh perspective for people who want to understand their body and exercise in a more balanced, beneficial way.

Please Note: This class is designed for those who are already active or exercise regularly. It is not suited to anyone with poor health, very low fitness levels, or significant movement limitations.

The Function First Group Training Experience

Movement Prep & Core Connection

Every class begins with a focus on breathing mechanics and connecting to your deep core, inspired by the principles of Pilates. We prepare the body for the session with dynamic mobility and activation work.

Coached Strength & Biomechanics

This is the core of the session. We focus on foundational functional strength movements, coaching you on optimal biomechanics to ensure you are not just lifting, but moving with purpose and quality in a supportive group environment.

Dynamic Movement & Cool Down

We finish with flows that integrate your newfound strength and control, leaving you feeling energised, strong, and mobile. We work in our bare feet to improve foot connection and stability, and we always finish with a proper cool down.

Who Our Group Training is For

This class is for you if: You are already active or exercise regularly and want to enhance your current routine. You want to gain a deeper understanding of posture, movement, and core connection. You are recovering from an injury (and have been cleared for exercise) and want to bridge the gap back to full performance. You value expert coaching in a friendly, supportive, and small group setting. You are interested in building long-term strength and movement longevity.
